Are the Disneyland Paris meal plans worth it? Here’s how much it saved us…
As much as Disneyland is about the magic, the characters and the rides, it’s also about the food. Disneyland Paris has a huge range of places to eat; from sit-down restaurants in the parks, quick service restaurants, buffets, and a whole range of options in the Disney Village. Food at Disney can also seem expensive, with a quick meal of burger, chips and a drink costing £18. However, the Disneyland Paris meal plans offer a flat day rate, giving you access to a wide range of Disney restaurants.

Standard and Plus meal plans include the same restaurants. The only difference is with the plus meal plans, your lunch and dinner can both be at buffet/sit-down restaurants, whereas on standard meal plans, one of your meals has to be at a quick-service restaurant.
All of the restaurants in the parks are included, as well as all of the hotel restaurants (except the Disneyland hotel restaurants). It also includes Annettes Diner, The Steakhouse, Billy Bobs and New York Style restaurants in Disney Village.
This means restaurants like Captain Jack’s, Bistro Chez Remey and Walts are all included!
Disneyland Paris Meal Plans review
I always use the Disneyland Paris meal plans and used both standard and plus meal plans. Both are great, and I do love the plus meal plans because you get two sit-down restaurants. However, they do book up quickly, and we’ve struggled to get different restaurants sometimes.
When I went to DLP in December 2023, we used the standard full-board meal plans, which cost us £55 per day. We ate at Bistro Chez Remey, The Steakhouse and The Yacht Club, where we had huge three-course meals, and then at the quick service restaurants which were Bella Notte Italian, Videopolois and Hakuna Matata.
Here’s a look at what we ate…

Are the Disneyland Paris Meal Plans worth it?
In one short word – YES they are totally worth it.
Take my last trip. We paid £55 per day for our food. That included breakfast at the hotel (approx £25), a quick service lunch (approx £20) and a three-course dinner (approx £35-£45). So I saved around £30 per day, and got to eat some delish food as well.
Feeling inspired to book your Disneyland Paris trip? Then I cannot recommend booking your meal plan. And when you book directly through Disneyland Paris, you can book your meals 12 months before you go!

Thanks for your tips. I booked our tickets and hotel package a year ago but didn’t understand about the meal plans at the time. I’d like to book them now but can’t find a way to do so on the app or website. Is it only possible to book the meal plans when you book the entire package?

JoThe meal plans are definitely confusing! However I think you can add them on afterwards – if you booked direct through DLP, you can add it to your account. If you scroll down on this page – https://bit.ly/DLP-meal-plans – there’s the option to add it. Hope that helps ☺️
