Everything you need to know about Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris
Disney Adventure World is the biggest expansion of Disneyland Paris in over a decade, and it’s very exciting. From the 29th March 2026, Disney Adventure World takes over from the old movie park, with its new highlight being the World of Frozen, where you can immerse yourself in Arendelle and feel like Anna and Elsa. So as Disneyland Paris enters a new and exciting era, what can you expect from March 2026.
What will be at Disney Adventure world?
On 29th March, you’ll step the new Adventure Way in Disney’s Adventure World, which is the former Studio park. As well as beloved favourites like Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar (aka Toy Story, Cars, Crush’s Coaster and Ratatouille to name a few) and the Premier Plaza, there is the new Adventure Way and World of Frozen. These are two highly anticipated openings, as if you’ve been to the park over the last few years, the building work has been massive.
Disney’s Adventure Way will take you from the entrance of the park, to the new Adventure Bay lake and to the magical World of Frozen. Along the way, you can find tranquil gardens, character encounters and attractions and shows all inspired by movie favourites. A new ride opening along here is the Raiponce Tangled Spin ride, which looks similar to the spinning teacups, and a whole lot of fun (as well as a great photo opportunity!)
There will also be The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, which will offer character dining with the Disney Princesses, as well as views over the new extension.
Adventure Bay will be home to the new Disney Cascade of Lights – an incredible night show which is going to be a spectacular show made up of fireworks, water screen projections, drone displays and visual effects.
It’s also the entrance to Arendelle and the World of Frozen…
Everything you need to know about The World of Frozen
I’ve been excited for the World of Frozen to open since the moment it was announced, and it looks like it’s going to live up to the (very high) expectations. Stepping inside, you’re going to feel like a real citizen of Arendelle, as there’s a chance you’ll cross paths with Mossie, the baby troll full of stories, or Oaken, the town’s jolliest shopkeeper.
In Arendelle Bay, you can enjoy the new show, A Celebration in Arendelle. Join the people of Arendelle, including Elsa, Anna, Olaf and Kristoff as they come together for a magical moment that brings their cherished traditions to life on the water.
The new ride, Frozen Ever After, you’ll hop in your own boat, and journey from The North Mountain to Elsa’s Ice Palace. Expect magic, music and the feeling of being transported straight into the film.
As well as two new boutique shops, you’ll also find Nordic Crowns Tavern – a new restaurant which will serve Nordic delicacies.
What parades and shows will be at Disney Adventure World?
With a new area comes a whole host of new parades and shows, as well as some much loved favourites. Within the new Disney Adventure World, you can expect;
- Minnie’s Dream Factory (an indoor show)
- Disney Cascade of Lights on Adventure Bay
- Mickey and the Magician (an indoor show)
- TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure (an indoor show)
- Frozen: A Musical Invitation (an indoor show)
- Stitch Live! (an indoor show)
- Heroic Welcome at Marvel Avengers Campus
- A Celebration in Arendelle at Arendelle Bay
Where to stay in Disneyland Paris?
I always recommend staying on site if you’re doing a full Disneyland Paris trip. I like the fact that from any of the Disney Hotels (apart from Davy Crockett Ranch) you can either get a free shuttle or easily walk in from them, you get the extra magic hours, and I just think the theming of each hotel really adds to your trip.
If you’re looking for a budget trip, stay at the Disney Santa Fe Hotel. I nearly always stay here now, and I love that it’s Cars themed! It’s always a super comfy stay, you have character experiences, and it’s a 15 minute walk to the park.
If you’re a huge Marvel Fan, make sure to stay at the Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. I stayed here before the Marvel upgrade, and even then it was incredible. I always make a trip to the bar at this hotel, because it’s just so cool and you really feel like you’re in a Marvel film!
If you’re wanting to have a once in a lifetime kind of trip, and are a big Disney Princess fan, the Disneyland Hotel is stunning. You’re right at the enterance of the Park, and can even see the firework show from here.
How to save money on my Disneyland Paris trip?
I have lots of posts on the best way to save money at Disney and how to do Disneyland Paris on a budget, but my biggest tip will always be to book Disneyland Paris meal plans. They seem expensive, however having used them on the last 5 trips I’ve done to Disneyland Paris, they definitely save you money, especially if you’re wanting to sit down meals in the restaurants.
