Today marked my 20th @parkrunuk 🎉 and it was a Today marked my 20th @parkrunuk 🎉 and it was a special day because it was also the first Parkrun at Talkin Tarn, which was an absolute beauty of a course 👟 With a beautiful sunrise and a gorgeous location, it was the perfect place and way to start the weekend! I never thought I’d be someone who goes for a run on a Saturday morning, let alone enjoy it! If you’re on the fence about parkrun, here’s your sign to GO GO GO 👟 don’t worry if you’re not a runner. I’m not a runner. I usually walk parts of it (sometimes a lot if my backs playing up) and I’m not fast in any sense of the word! 👟 it doesn’t matter how slow you are. There are tail walkers at each event so you’ll always have someone to walk with! 👟 there are all ages and abilities at parkrun, and it’s such an inclusive and friendly place! One of my goals for this year is to go on more wal One of my goals for this year is to go on more walks, and today we did just that 🌿 Whilst it was a VERY misty day, with minimal views, it was still such a beautiful walk around Crosby Fell ✨ It was my first 10k walk in a long time, and I found out today just how little of the local area I’ve explored (so I can’t wait to explore more this year!!) A 10/10 day, followed by a much needed full English 🍳🥓 and now it’s time to sit down and do some blogging which I’m equally excited about!
