Laynes Espresso – the best brunch Leeds has to offer?

Located around the corner from Leeds Station, Laynes Espresso is the best brunch spot Leeds has to offer. I make a beeline for here every time I come to the city and I’ve never been disappointed.

From classic full English breakfasts to healthy options, to whipped goat’s cheese with potato cakes (absolutely delicious). There truly is something for everyone here. They also have a takeaway section with the most delicious-looking pastries – shout out to the cinnamon rolls!

But the real stand out here is the coffee. It’s strong, full of flavour, and silky smooth – and that’s just the decaf!

FINT

FINT is a scandi style restaurant offering brunch until 3pm. And wow, what a menu.

You have your classic brunch options like the FINT breakfast and crumpet benedict to more scandi-inspired dishes like SmØrrebrØd and Bokkeumbap.

Seriously, this is a beautiful restaurant and a must visit!

Olive & Rye

Olive & Rye is a gorgeous little cafe in Queen’s Arcade which has a huge brunch menu which is served all day.

With great veggie and vegan options – there truly is something for everyone here. Whether it’s salmon, bacon, or grilled mushrooms with truffle oil, a little bit of luxury is exactly what you can get here.

IF…Up North

Tucked into Call Lane, IF…Up North is a cosy and rustic brunch place that has delicious coffee, bottomless brunch and the most amazing menu.

As well as your classic breakfast, there’s the breakfast burrito, the IF steak sandwich and so many pancake options!!

Lucky Days

Lucky Days is a new find for me in the city centre, and it was such a brilliant surprise to find it!

The coffee here is to die for and there are some great food options too. What looks like your average little cafe is so much more. I had the shakshuka and it was delicious. Seriously, you need to make a visit to here!
